Day 5 & Day 6:

We went to church with Grandma Phelon.  Maycee would not stay in nursery, so I got to hang out in nursery with her.  We had a yummy Sunday dinner and played lots of fun games.  Then we headed back to Paul and Inger's for lots of fun with cousins.

On Monday, we just hung out with Paul and Inger's family for most of the day.  In the afternoon we went to a park and had an informal reunion with some of Pete's friends from High School.  We had a great time visiting with people, but especially with Case and Vickie.  After the reunion we got ice cream at the Purple Turtle.  And then we headed back to mom and dad's.

Utah Day 4: Strawberry Days

On Saturday, we got up and met our friends Vickie and Casey and their kids at the Strawberry Days parade.  It was a fun parade and the high light was seeing Jason Chaffetz and shaking his hand.  The kids got a lot of candy and we even got a couple of soda pops thrown at us.  The best part was visiting with our friends since we hadn't seen them in a long time.  After the parade we went to the carnival and let the kids go on a few rides each.

After we were done with Strawberry days we visited with Casey's parents and then went to the Purple Turtle for dinner.  YUMMY!  It was a fun time visiting and eating good food.  We then parted ways with Vickie and Casey and headed back to Paul and Inger's.  Then our families went and saw The Croods at the movie theater.  It was a really good show and everyone loved it.  Then we went back to Paul and Ingers and played games.  It was a very busy and very fun day.

Day 3: Hannah's Birthday

On Friday, we spent the morning at Grandma's and Grandpa's and then headed back to Pleasant Grove for the weekend.  We picked up Pete at Grandma Phelon's and then met Paul and Inger at the Pleasant Grove pool for Hannah's birthday party.  We had a fun afternoon swimming in the pool and visiting with cousins.

After swimming for awhile we headed to the party room for cake and ice cream.  The cake was a purple monster and it was very messy.  Maycee had it spread EVERYWHERE!  It took me awhile to clean her up and while I was cleaning her up one of Hannah's little friends got her finger stuck in the top of a cup.  The cup had a hole big enough for a straw to go through and she stuck her finger in it and couldn't get it out!  After trying everything to get it out, water, oil, vaseline...nothing would budge it.  The pool just happens to be by a fire station and so Inger took the little girl over there and they cut it off her hand.  This whole thing went on for about 45 mins.  The poor girl was completely traumatized by it.  It was so sad.  After that craziness, we back to Paul and Inger's for a yummy dinner of lasagna and ceasar salad.  We spent the rest of the night visiting and headed to bed early, since we all had a busy day the next day.

Pete's Day 2

When we came back to my parents from the Rodeo on Wednesday night, Pete stayed in Pleasant Grove with his mom.  He spent his second day in Utah with his mom doing some family history and taking names to the temple.  He had a great time spending the day with his mom at the Mount Timpanagos temple.
