Brandon is in the band this year and he is playing the clarinet.  He had his first concert on January 24th.  He played a solo, Yankee Doodle, and did a wonderful job.  Brandon is very musically inclined and seems to pick up new instruments easily.  He is starting to get really good at the piano.

The FOUR Amigas

On January 22 we had a little birthday party for Miss Moo.  We invited the four families that had baby girls in our ward the same age as Maycee.  These girls are five months apart from the oldest born in November to the youngest born in April.  I have been wanting to get a picture of the four of them together since they were babies.  I finally did at this party.

Maycee Turns ONE!

I already posted about her at one here.  But, here is what we did on her one year birthday.  We went out to dinner at IHOP on her birthday.  She had eggs and pancakes, she LOVES pancakes.  We then came home and opened her presents.  She got a wagon, clothes from Grandma and Grandpa Summer, money from Grandma Phelon, a monkey hat, Little People van, and few other things.  After presents we had cupcakes and ice cream.  I made chocolate chip cupcakes and they turned out really good.  I made them in pink and purple and then did some chocolate M's and 1's on them.  She was so happy and excited about all the attention and it was a fun birthday.

 Her stats at one are 17 lbs. 3 oz (3%) and 28 in. (10%).  She is my littlest at one.  I will post everyone else's stats later when I get them.

 

 

 

 

 

  

 

  

SNOOOOOWWWW!

On January 18th, we got some snow.  It was actually enough for the kids to get out and play in it for a bit before it melted.  They canceled school, so we got to have a fun snow day.  We played in the snow, watched movies and just enjoyed being together as a family.
