Jaron turned five on April 27th. I can't believe that he is already five. I could swear he was just this tiny cuddly baby who used to snuggle up and fall asleep on my chest. Jaron had an extra special birthday because we got our dog on his birthday. Pete took him to lunch for his birthday to a Lebanese restaurant. It seems weird, I know, but Jaron loves hummus and pita bread. He loved it and then he and Pete went to the airport to pick up our puppy. They stopped at Target to get some things for her and then brought her home. For dinner we had his favorite poppy seed chicken and then we opened presents and had cupcakes and ice cream. It was such a fun day for him.
Here are some things about Jaron at five:
- He loves to run around the house making fighting noises with his mouth and jumps around pretending he is fighting.
- He knows his alphabet, numbers, shapes and colors.
- He can write his name
- He is a temper and is trying to learn how to get that under control
- He is still a mommy's boy, but does love to do things with his daddy
- He still carries his "dee dee" every where.
- He loves both of his big brothers, but completely idolizes Kenyon and tries to copy and imitate everything Kenyon does (it irritates Kenyon to no end)
- He is a great big brother to Maycee and loves to take care of her
- He likes to help me bake.
- He makes his own bed and puts away some of his own laundry.
- He cleans the mirror, sink and counter in one bathroom weekly
- He can be very loveable and very cuddly if he is in the mood.
I just adore my baby boy and am so sad that he is going to be going to all day Kindergarten next year. I will miss him so much...he is my buddy and keeps me company.
Happy Birthday Little man!
