Fun at Inger's

When we stay in Pleasant Grove, we always stay at Pete's brother Paul's house.  They are very kind to have us stay with them and we really enjoy our time there.  Our kids all match up in age except poor Maycee who doesn't have a match.  Brandon and Makenna are two months apart, Kenyon and Kaitlyn are 8 days apart, Shaylee and Hannah are ten months apart, and Jaron and Easton are nine months apart.  Paul and Inger stopped, but we had our little caboose who is actually the favorite of everyone, so she isn't really very poor since she has gets all kinds of attention.

Jaron and Brooks He used to be terrified of this dog, but thanks to Ginger no longer!

BYU Tour

Pete thought it would be fun to take the kids on a tour of BYU, so we made a reservation and were able to go on a tour of the campus in golf carts!  It was so fun and I am so glad that we were able to do this.  The kids had a blast riding in the golf carts and seeing all the sites of the campus.  Our tour guides were BYU students and they were really good with the kids.  We are hoping that doing fun things like this will make the kids have a desire to go to BYU.  It was especially fun that we got to go with Paul and Inger and their kids.

For dinner that night we went to the Purple Turtle and met Pete's niece and her kids.  This was our last night seeing them, so we said a sad Goodbye.

Ensign Peak

My mom and dad took Brandon, Kenyon, Matthew and Stevie on a hike up Ensign Peak.  It was such a fun thing for them to do with their grandma and grandpa.  I am so glad that I have parents who are active and healthy enough to do fun things like these with their grandkids.

They made it to the top!  Beautiful view!

Family Reunion

We went to the Summers' family reunion while we were in Utah at a park in Sandy.  It was great to see cousins and to watch my kids play with their cousins.

Shaylee, Summer and Annika  I did Shaylee's hair all fancy for the party and Summer and Annika wanted Aunt Steph to do their hair, too.  I wish I had taken a picture of the back of all three of their hair.  They looked SOOOO cute!

Playing at the park

We went to the park and met my cousin and her little boy there.  Maycee and Isaiah were born only three days apart and this was the first time they met.  It was really fun to see him and to see my cousin Lisa.

Mission Dinner

We got together with some of the people from Pete's mission and had a yummy dinner at Cracker Barrel. Pete really enjoyed reminiscing with his fellow Boston mission peeps!

Wheeler Farm!!!!!

We have never taken the kids to Wheeler Farm and I have heard great things about it, so we decided to go visit.  It was a pretty hot day, but we had a great time.  I think the favorite part were the ducks and geese.  We bought some food and the kids had a blast feeding them.  We also were able to see some horses, sheep, goats, and more.  After visiting the animals we were SO hot, so we got some ice cream bars and drinks.  We had a great time!
