My baby turned one month old yesterday! That was a fast month! Like they say, "Time flies when you are having fun!" And boy are we having fun! I don't know what it is with this baby, but we are just enjoying every moment with her. I think it is a combination of different things: she is our last, we are older, we know that this stage does NOT last long, and she is just so easy! Whatever it is we are all loving this girl and enjoying the sweetness she has added to our family.
Here are a few things about Maycee's first month. She usually only wakes up once a night and has done this since day one that she has been home. She sleeps in her car seat. She weighed 7 lbs 13 oz. at her two week appointment. She smiled for the first time on Feb. 4th, she was 2 weeks and 1 day old. She is still wearing newborn clothes and newborn diapers. She is my only child to be wearing newborn clothes and diapers this long. She doesn't cry much, but when she does, it is so quiet and soft compared to my other darlings! Maycee is a joy and we have loved this first month of having her in our family. Happy one month birthday, Maycee!
