On May 16th Pete and I took the big boys up to Seattle to see a Mariners vs. Red Sox game. We were so excited to have just the four of us going. It was such fun to be able to just focus on the boys and have a good time. We got up there right as the game started at 7:00, we enjoyed a couple of innings where the Red Sox started off with an early lead. Then we had hot dogs, nachos, the famous Safeco field garlic fries and cracker jacks of course. YUM! We were amazed at how many Red Sox fans were there. I would say at least half of the fans were cheering for the Red Sox. One of the Red Sox fans pointed out to Pete that Drew Bledsoe (a former quarter back for the New England Patriots) was in the first row in our same section. So, Pete being the brave soul that he is asked him if he would take his picture with the boys. The boys had no clue who he was, but it was exciting for Pete.
Brandon and Kenyon loved doing the wave and cheering for I-CHI-RO! Yes, even though we are Red Sox fans, they had to cheer for him because his name is so fun to say! And to end the night on a high note the Red Sox won! WOO HOO!! It was such an awesome night and we loved every minute of it! Who says baseball is boring?! Definitely not us!
Thanks JR and Karen for the tickets and watching Shaylee and Jaron.

Isn't baseball great!! We went to the Mariners vs Red Sox last July when we were on a trip up to Seattle. I think that the atmosphere is the best part of the game. Glad you guys had such a good time. Now I am craving those garlic fries. Yummmm :)
