Trains and Founders Day

On our last day in Utah, August 4, we decided to go on the Front Runner, the commuter train that runs from Salt Lake to Ogden.  We took it from Layton to Ogden and went to the Union Pacific railroad museum they have in Ogden.  It used to be the Ogden train station, but has been turned into a train, gun, and classic car museum.  We had a great time looking at all the fun things that they had there.  The kids loved the trains.  They also enjoyed riding the train there and back.

We went to the Fruit Heights Founders day.  It was a carnival type thing with games and food and prizes.  The kids had a great time.  They had cotton candy, popsicles, candy, they played fishing games, rode on trains, climbed rock walls, and more.  It was a very fun time.  It was HOT, but it was fun.  The kids had a great time.
