A Day In Salt Lake City

On July 5th, we spent the entire day in Salt Lake City.  We started out going to the Museum of Natural History at the U.  It was a very nice museum that showed natural disasters like earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, and volcanoes.  It even had a history of our volcanoes- Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Hood.  It was so fun for the kids to read about our volcanoes.  It also had a whole huge section filled with dinosaurs.  It had lots of places for the kids to play.  It was a very nice and very big museum.

Then we dropped Pete off to go to his "Man In the Moon" events and we met my sisters at Temple Square. They were a bit late because they had some trouble in the parking garage, but they eventually made it and we headed to the childrens section of the Church History Museum.  Then Debbie and her kids had to head home.  Cindy and I took our kids and met mom and dad at the Conference Center.  They are ending their mission at the Conference Center in November, so it was our last chance to get a tour from them.  Then we ate dinner at the City Creek Mall.  It was a very fun and very busy day.
