On April 10, 2011 our sweet baby girl was blessed by her daddy into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She looked absolutely adorable in her beautiful white dress. Her grandma and grandpa Summers and grandma Phelon were able to come from Utah to be there for her blessing. Aunt Gina, Uncle Kirk, Tyler, Shannon, Evan, Lauren and Whitney were able to come as well. It was a beautiful blessing and Maycee Summer was on her best behavior. She slept through the whole blessing and I was able to hear everything. The men in the circle were, her dad Peter, her Grandpa Steven, her Uncle Kirk, Bishop McKague and our home teacher Bob Brinkley.
A few days after the blessing we received a typed out version of the blessing. Someone had recorded the blessing for us and typed it out, anonymously. It was such a wonderful gift to receive and we will cherish it forever. I also have to thank my good friend, Karen for Maycee's beautiful dress. She looked like such an angel, I just loved it.
