We decided that we wanted to do the river architecture tour that goes through downtown Chicago, since we never did that when we lived in Chicago. So, that was what our plans were for the fourth day of our trip, but sometimes plans change. The weather was not on our side today, so we decided not to do the tour and just hang out in Chicago and then head to Wisconsin a little earlier than we originally planned. As we set in the Corner Bakery (another fabulous Chicago restaurant) eating our delicious lunch, there was a couple sitting next to us with a sweet little baby. I am a mom and I adore all babies. So, of course I oohed and aahed over this little one. They were heading back home from there vacation that day and had some tickets to the Adler Planetarium that they weren't going to be able to use. They offered the tickets to us and voile! new plans for the day. See what happens when you admire cute babies.
We had never been to the planetarium and we had a great time. The planetarium has the views of the Chicago skyline. So, Pete spent time taking some great pictures of the view. With the tickets that we got we were able to go to two shows and wander around all the floors of the planetarium. It was a fun surprise to our Chicago plans.

After the planetarium we headed out of Chicago and up to Milwaukee Wisconsin, to visit our friends, Bernie and Sharon Johnson. Sharon is a Chocolate maker and when we got to her house we enjoyed many different kinds of homemade chocolates! YUM! We stayed up late eating chocolates and talking. It was a great way to end a great day.
